The 6L MARINEMASTER

Powered by the slim, yet robust caliber 6L37, specially engineered with techniques and materials selected to meet the strict standard for durability and shock resistance necessary for diving, the 6L Marinemaster series is a milestone in Seiko watch construction, featuring the first exhibition caseback on a Prospex diver’s watch. By reconsidering the case structure, Seiko created its thinnest mechanical diver’s watch at just 12.3mm, offering a view of the finely finished, high-performance mechanical movement in action. The edges of the case and bezel are mirror-finished to prevent snagging and damage to the equipment used by divers, creating a brilliant appearance while improving functionality, and the bracelet is designed with mirror-finished, ellipse-shaped links with dual-curved surfaces for the ultimate in comfort and wearability.

The 8L Marinemaster

A streamlined and updated homage to Seiko’s landmark 1968 diver’s watch, models with the high-intensity 8L movement are the latest additions to the Marinemaster collection, complete with special features designed to enhance safety for intrepid divers. As a result of the skillful control of color and texture, the high contrast between the dial and indices provides improved visibility for a professional tool while the subtle pattern provides an appealing luxury feel. Including models with water resistances from 300m to astounding 600m saturation divers, each is equipped with a high precision 8L automatic mechanical movement, hand-assembled at the Shizukuishi watch studio in Japan, implementing advanced technologies and specifications to provide the enhanced torque necessary for the most challenging dives.
