THE KING SEIKO KSK
Launched in 1965, the KSK established King Seiko’s originality through its design. It was this design that forever defined the character of the collection, with its sharp, angular case and high functionality. The knurled index at 12 o’clock, reminiscent of certain luxury items, and the sharp case design are imparted on the modern KSK series, brilliantly updated with the slimline Caliber 6L35, providing a sleek profile and high performance for the modern day.
SHARP AND PRISTINE
With designs ranging from minimal and contemporary, to intricate patterns and unique colors depicting ukiyo-e prints from the Edo Period, the dials of today’s KSK series are brilliantly crafted with pristine detail. The 12 o’clock index is more than twice the width of the others and has a patterned texture specially etched to ensure high legibility. The sharply cut hands and indices endow the dial with a bright sparkle that invites the eye.
DYNAMIC AND EVER-CHANGING
The case is constructed for a slim and elegant feel, employing a boxed-shaped sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating to deliver high legibility from any angle. The bold, faceted lugs have sharp angles and wide, flat surfaces that feature both mirror and hairline finishing, creating a sense of precision. The crown and case back bear the new King Seiko emblem, whose design was inspired by that of the 1965 KSK, while the bracelet pays homage to the design of the original King Seiko series, its beveled surfaces reflecting the light in a way that is dynamic and ever-changing.
